im ohkay with being a thief.

i need to clean up this mess i've made. i need to peel back my skin and clean out the dirt from under it. pull out my hair, and get under my nails. scour every last inch of this skin that's no longer mine.

im not the same person i was last year

im not even the same person i was 3 months ago.
i’ve changed in so many ways,
my life has been influenced by a million things since then.
one of my old friends was talking to me the other day
and halfway jokingly asked me who the hell i was.

it’s a comfort to know im different,
but at the same time
i dont even know who i’ve become.
maybe when we change,
we are only forming the foundation for who we are destined to become.
except i dont believe in a set destiny.

p.s. dont pretend like im still the same girl
you used to know everything about.
you no longer know me.

honesty.

life isnt easy. everything is not just handed to you. not everybody will like you. not everyone will agree with you. sometimes you will be all alone. people will change. relationships will fail. your friends will lie to you. things will get completly screwed up just for the hell of it. and you cant do anything to stop it.
all you can do is hope.

im so content with my life.

i wish i could hold on to this feeling forever.
